Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SimpliInvest ("Service"), operated by SimpliInvest ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

SimpliInvest provides AI-generated risk analysis for stocks and cryptocurrencies. Our Service uses artificial intelligence to research and summarize publicly available information about investment assets. The Service is provided for informational and educational purposes only.

2. Not Financial Advice

SimpliInvest is not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, or financial planner. The analyses, scores, and content provided through our Service do not constitute financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other form of professional advice. You should not make investment decisions based solely on information provided by SimpliInvest. Always consult with a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.

3. Account Terms

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.

4. Free Trial

New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with access to most features. No credit card is required for the trial. When the trial expires, your account reverts to the Free plan. Trial access is limited to one trial per person.

5. Paid Subscriptions

  • Pro subscriptions are billed monthly at the rate displayed on our pricing page (currently $9.99/month).
  • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew each billing cycle. You will be charged the subscription fee at the beginning of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Account page or Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing cycle.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any laws.
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our systems.
  • Redistribute, resell, or republish our analyses without written permission.
  • Use the Service to manipulate markets or engage in fraudulent activity.
  • Circumvent rate limits, access controls, or other technical restrictions.

8. AI-Generated Content

Our analyses are generated by artificial intelligence systems. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any analysis. Risk scores and color ratings are algorithmic assessments and should not be treated as definitive evaluations of any asset.

9. Data Sources

Our Service aggregates data from third-party sources including financial data providers, news outlets, social media, and public filings. We do not control these sources and are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party data.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SimpliInvest and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our analyses are proprietary and may not be reproduced without permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SimpliInvest shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or investment losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SimpliInvest from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your investment decisions.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund any prepaid subscription fees on a pro-rated basis.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
